Smith and Wesson Model 442 snub-nose .38 Special - Crown seems nicked or dinged, does it need to be repaired?

If it shoots accurately,I would leave it alone. There is NOT a single production gun made today without some burr, nick, or imperfection on it. That is the reality of today's quality control.The best that can be had is that the gun functions well and is accurate for its intended purpose.
