We're married, im unemployed, trying to get a home loan?

I went through the same problem. The bank told me since i am not working they wouldn't consider putting me on the loan. If you have collections like i do tell the bank you will not be on the loan they can not force you to be on it. We went through chase bank and my husband doesn't have great credit but they required a 620 to qualify he has a 630 so he is doing the loan by himself. I would also avoid lenders pulling your credit try to stick with one considering my husbands credit score dropped 7 points everytime some lender pulled his credit report.
