Is there such a thing as a headphones port where musicians can ouput their amps into and be heard collectively?

Just trying to work out if it is possible for me to play guitar with my pal who has electric drums without bothering neighbours... can the sound be channeled through one source and heard through 2 sets of headphones without splashing out on a big mixing desk?
