Is a 3 Day workout split a good way to build muscle?

So Monday and Thrusday i am thinking of doing Squats , Flat banch press. dead lifts and pullups But on Wensday I would do Calves Shoulders and forearms and anything else i need to work on. So i need to know if this is a good workout split for buik]ding mass
